Squamish Wind Festival and The Airhouse

Saturday, July 28, 2018 After another lazy morning....well lazy for us....Annabelle and Seb were up around 7:30/8:00: Ray was up at 8:30!! I thought children needed less sleep than adults, but it sure doesn't seem that way!! Anyway, we headed back into Squamish this time on our bikes - it's about 5 k - and took in the festival. There was a fair bit going on, but not too much of interest: face painting, circus tricks such as juggling, and walking on stilts, wood carving, screen printing, music....and then, the "Crepe Wagon" which brought forth a big "yes please!" I thought the crepes were a little chintzy, but the kids seem to enjoy them!! While we were waiting for the crepes we walked across the road to "Axe Wood" an axe throwing opportunity!! To Seb's dismay, he was too young to participate, but Annabelle did with joy. Her very first throw was a "bull's eye!!" Amazing!!! I think the trick was that she wat...
