Squamish Wind Festival and The Airhouse
Saturday, July 28, 2018 After another lazy morning....well lazy for us....Annabelle and Seb were up around 7:30/8:00: Ray was up at 8:30!! I thought children needed less sleep than adults, but it sure doesn't seem that way!! Anyway, we headed back into Squamish this time on our bikes - it's about 5 k - and took in the festival. There was a fair bit going on, but not too much of interest: face painting, circus tricks such as juggling, and walking on stilts, wood carving, screen printing, music....and then, the "Crepe Wagon" which brought forth a big "yes please!" I thought the crepes were a little chintzy, but the kids seem to enjoy them!! While we were waiting for the crepes we walked across the road to "Axe Wood" an axe throwing opportunity!!
